One drive unit. Many vessels. A faster, cleaner way to blend.

A detachable vessel system that cuts batch times from hours to minutes — and changes the economics of powder blending.

MultiBlend

How the MultiBlend Principle works

Traditional powder blenders use a fixed vessel — limiting flexibility and driving up cleaning and downtime costs. MultiBlend introduces a detachable vessel design that lets manufacturers handle, blend and transfer product using the same container.

01. Load in dispensing area

Product loaded into the vessel inside a dedicated dispensing area — minimising airborne contamination and operator exposure.

02. Blend on the drive unit

Vessel clamps onto a single drive unit that supports multiple sizes and geometries — no in-situ product transfers.

03. Unload & clean off-line

Vessel detaches for unloading and cleaning in dedicated areas — keeping the blender free for the next batch.

Four ways to connect a vessel

Multiple connection methods let manufacturers choose the configuration that best suits their process, product type and batch size.

Direct attachment

A single clamp secures the vessel. Quick changeovers, minimal setup, ideal for smaller manually-handled vessels.

BEST FOR: Small repeatable batches

Clamp bands

Designed for circular vessels. Fast, secure loading and unloading — reduces setup time and keeps production moving.

BEST FOR: Circular vessels, repeat runs

Universal arms

Manual or powered clamping for IBCs, V-shells and double cones. Safe handling and consistent alignment for larger loads.

BEST FOR: IBCs, V-shells, double cones

Fixed-shell option

Permanent mounting for larger-scale production. Stable, high-capacity reliability for repeat operations.

BEST FOR: High-volume production runs

Why it matters

Lower capital investment

One drive unit operates a range of vessel sizes — fewer machines, less maintenance.

Parallel processing

Prepare, blend, clean and unload simultaneously across multiple vessels.

Improved containment

No in-situ product transfers — no product release during charging or discharging.

Seamless scale-up

One drive unit supports development through full production — same principle, every scale.

Simplified cleaning

Vessels wash off-line in dedicated facilities — blending area stays free for production.

End-to-end transfer

Same vessel moves material between process stages — fewer containers, less handling.

Available across the MultiBlend range

The MultiBlend Principle is built into every blender in our range — from R&D to full production.

Engineering insight

Smaller vessels (up to ~20L) handle manually. Larger vessels use integrated wheels or mobile trolleys.
